IRIS is an innovative SME founded in 2012 and based in Orbassano, in the Turin area. We operate in two complementary business areas: environmental technologies and industrial technologies

Ingegnere con esperienza nella ricerca industriale e nell’innovazione tecnologica, ha contribuito allo sviluppo di numerosi brevetti e alla nascita delle tecnologie che hanno dato origine a IRIS.
Carlo Ferraro
Imprenditore e co-fondatore
Imprenditore metalmeccanico con esperienza nello sviluppo di produzioni flessibili e nell’integrazione di tecnologie avanzate nei processi industriali.
Paolo Calefati
Manager e co-fondatore
Manager con esperienza nella ricerca, nell’innovazione e nello sviluppo industriale, con un percorso legato alle tecnologie avanzate di produzione e additive manufacturing.

Area industriale
Celle robotizzate per laser processing, additive manufacturing, saldatura e trattamento superficiale, oltre a strumenti per caratterizzazione e sviluppo di processo.
Area ambientale
- Laboratorio sviluppo di processi di conversione termochimica (10kW).
- Laboratorio sviluppo di processi di trattamento mediante plasma e impulsi elettrici (120kV).
- Laboratorio chimico e microbiologico.
- Due stazioni per trattamento gas attraverso tecnologia al plasma freddo.
- Impianti di trattamento delle acque
(pre-filtrazione: filtri a sabbia, carbone attivo, filtrazione a membrana: osmosi inversa, nanofiltrazione,ultrafiltrazione)
